The random question generator on my profile page here said to tell a story about a bald frog with a wig. I was a hundred characters over the limit, so I'm posting here:
Once upon a time there was a bald frog. He did not like being bald. He wished very much that he had hair like the handsome lion who drank from his pond. One day, the bald frog was sitting on a lily pad, feeling glum, when a fly buzzed by. The bald frog stuck his tongue out lickity-split and caught the fly, but before he could bring it to his mouth to eat for lunch, the fly cried, "Wait!"
The bald frog held the fly up to his face with his sticky tongue, "Wha- 'oo you have to thay before I ea' you, Mithter Fly?" he asked, lisping around his tongue.
"You are very quick and very clever, Mr. Frog," said the fly. "I am a magic fly and, if you let me go, I will grant you a wish."
The bald frog thought for a moment then, deciding he could catch another fly later, released the magic fly and said, "I wish I had beautiful hair like the handsome lion who drinks from my pond."
The magic fly buzzed his wings and poof! a wig appeared with long brown hair, just like the handsome lion's. The magic fly gave the wig to the bald frog and flew away. The bald frog put the wig on his head and hopped for joy. He felt very handsome with his new hair.
Before long, the handsome lion came to the pond. As he was drinking the cool water, he spied the bald frog in his new wig, sitting on a lily pad.
"Hello, Mr. Frog," said the handsome lion. "I have never seen you before. Are you new to this pond?"
"Why, no," said the bald frog. "I have been here a very long time and I have seen you every day."
"How can this be?" questioned the lion, "Surely I would have noticed such a handsome frog."
"You may not have seen me because, until moments ago, I have been dreadfully bald. I am green and can be hard to see when I am sitting on my green lily pad."
"You are a lovely shade of green," said the handsome lion. "And your hair suits you well. It is long and brown, just like mine." He shook his mane and smiled at the bald frog. "I wonder if your hair feels the same as mine. May I touch it?" he asked, politely.
The bald frog was very flattered that the handsome lion was interested in his new hair, so he readily agreed. He hopped carefully from lily pad to lily pad until he was right in front of the handsome lion. He shook his hair out and was just about to speak when the lion's massive jaws closed around him.
"Wait!" the bald frog cried.
But the lion merely said, "I didn't become king of the jungle by listening to my food," and ate the bald frog, spitting out the wig that had helped him spot his lunch.
So the moral of the story, kids, is: be happy with your looks (you are the way you are for a reason), and don't listen to your food or it will try to trick you.
